Know about Indian Army has been announced Technical d Graduate Course details like Qualification, Age Limit, How to Apply for the course 1. Applications are invited from married / single MALE engineering graduates for the granting of
Standing Commission of the army in all weapons / Services. As the current July 2015
the Indian Military Academy (IMA), Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
ELIGIBILITY:
(a) Nationality: A candidate must be either (i) a citizen of India, or (ii) a subject of Bhutan, or
(iii) A subject of Nepal, or (iv) a Tibetan refugee who came to India before 1st
January 1962 with the intention of settling in India or (v) a person of Indian origin
which has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka and East African countries of Kenya,
Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire and Ethiopia and Vietnam
intend to settle permanently in India. Provided that a candidate belonging to categories
(ii), (iii), (iv) and (v) above shall be a person in whose favor a certificate of eligibility has been
issued by Government of India. Certificate of Eligibility, however, will not be necessary in the
case of candidates who are Gorkha subjects of Nepal.
Age limit: - 20 to 27 at the time of the beginning of the course. (Born Candidates
between 2 July 88 and July 1 95 inclusive). Birth date accepted by the office
entered registration or an equivalent examination certificate.
NOTE: No other document relating to the age will be accepted and no subsequent request for its
change will be considered or granted.
Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed engineering degree or
appeared in the final year of engineering courses. Candidates appearing in the final year
Review of the Degree Course should be able to produce an engineering degree in the 12
week of the start date of training at the IMA. These candidates will be inducted to
training at the IMA on the basis of additional Bond to recover the cost of training at the IMA, as notified
from time to time, as well as benefits and claims paid and pay, in case they fail to produce the
requisite degree certificate.

NOTE 1: These positions are tentative and subject to change based on availability
training slots.
NOTE 2: If the candidate of engineering stream is not listed above and
candidates desire to claim equivalence, they can produce a certificate of equivalence
universities involved in the goal. Direction Recruitment review
the case for acceptance based on the certificate issued by the relevant university
equivalence.
TYPE OF THE COMMISSION:
(a) Grant of the Commission: The selected candidates will be given short Service Commission on
Probation lieutenant from the date of start of the course or date
reports to the IMA, if later, and will be entitled to full pay and benefits to eligible
Lt during the training period. Pay & allowances will be paid after successful completion of training.
(b) Standing Committee: On successful completion of training cadets will be given
Standing Commission of the army with the rank of lieutenant
(c) Date of Ante length: One year update ante seniority from date of the commission will be
given to graduates Engineering TGC Enter.
Training: Training duration is one year:
(a) The selected candidates will be detailed for training at Indian Military Academy, Dehradun
according to their position in the order of final merit to the number of vacancies available
each subject.
(b) Applicants not be allowed to marry during the training period, or that he be allowed to
live with parents / guardians. A candidate who marries during training must be unloaded and
will be required to reimburse all expenses incurred on him by the government. A candidate,
married after the date of its application, if successful, will not be selected for
training.
(c) Training cost: The total cost of the training is at government expense. In case the GC
is removed from the training academy for reasons other than medical reasons or land
not beyond his control, he will be required to reimburse the cost of training @ Rs. 8135 weeks / -by for
the period of his stay at the Indian Military Academy.
(d) Group Insurance Fund of the Army. Gentlemen Cadets IMA in receiving scholarship are
insured for Rs. 50 lac.
6. The final distribution of arms / Services will be made before passing gentleman cadets
IMA.
7. COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS: Candidates will receive an allowance of Rs 21000 / - pm (Rs.
15600 / - as compensation in the salary scale PLUS GRADE salary of Rs 5400 / -.). After the training, they
will be commissioned in the rank of lieutenant and duty payable as admissible to the rank. Army also
provides free medical facilities for self & load, canteen facilities, Ration Title,
Mess / Club / Sports Centres, Govt furnished. Accommodation, Car Loans / housing for subsidized

HOW TO APPLY: Online Apply
(a) Applications will be accepted online through the site "www.joinindianarmy.nic.in."
Click on Menu, then go to the leadership How Apply and apply online. fill
online registration form. Note the user name and password. Tips to help fill in the fields
were provided you click apply online. Before submitting the application
verify entries made and save the application. After submitting, make two copies of the
printing and reel number generated by the system.
(b) The documents are to be made by the candidate selection center: -
(i) A copy of the print on signed application and affix photograph certified by Govt
Official agent.
(ii) Attested copy of registration or equivalent certificate for proof of age.
(iii) Attested copy of certificate class 12 and Marksheet.
(iv) a copy of the engineering degree / Provisional Degree
(v) a copy of Mark sheets of all semesters
(vi) Certificate of Primary / Head of Institution indicating that the applicant is in the final
year and final exams will be over by July 1, 2015 for the final year appearing candidates.
(vii) the equivalency certificate that university claim equivalence.
(viii) All certificates of origin. The originals will be returned after verification service
Selection Committee itself.
Any candidate who does not carry the full documents for the SSB interview
his candidature will be canceled.
(c) The second copy of the online application form must be retained by the
candidate for his reference. No need to send any paper copies to the recruiting DG.
(d) Applicants must submit only one application. Receiving multiple applications of the
same candidate will cancel the bid.
ONLINE APPLICATION will open on 01 DEC 2014 à 1000 HRS AND WILL

SELECTION PROCEDURE: The selection procedure is as follows: -
(a) short list of requests. HQ Integrated Mod (Army) reserves the right to list
applications and to fix the percentage crop marks for each subject notwithstanding the
reason.
(b) Only eligible candidates based on the cut-off percentage will be interviewed
in breeding centers, Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP) and Bangalore (Karnataka) by the psychologist,
Trials Group management and police interrogator. SSB interview call letter will be issued
through registered email id candidate and SMS. Candidates will not be interviewed
locally. Selection Centre allocation is at the discretion of DG ELO IHQ MoD (Army) and
change request are entertained in this regard.
(c) Interviews will take place in March / April 2015.
(d) Candidates will be put through two stage selection procedure. Those who clear
Step I go to Step II. Those who fail in Phase I will be returned on the same
day. Of SSB interview lasts five days excluding the day of arrival and the details of the

standard physical:
Candidates must be physically fit according to the prescribed physical standards. Guidelines

MEDICAL EXAMINATION: A candidate recommended by the Services Selection Board
will undergo a medical examination by a board of officers Medical Service. only those
applicants will be admitted to the academy who are declared fit by the medical board. the

MERIT LIST: merit list will be prepared for each subject separately on the
BASIC scores by the candidate INTERVIEW SSB.
(a) The merit list of recommended candidates will be posted at the front desk of the DG
Recruitment and website say www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.
(b) Recommended TGC candidates who do not enter the number of vacancies may
be offered SSC (T) if a vacancy exists after the award of all SSC (T) eligible candidates.
CHANGE OF DATES INTERVIEW: Request for change of SSB Interview Date should be
avoided. However, in most unavoidable circumstances, such a change may be considered
based on the circumstances of the case. This will be the exception rather the rule. application
Such a change should be forwarded to the location selection center where the call letter for SSB
maintenance was received, not the recruitment branch. The selection Centre
may allow the date change at their discretion.
RIGHT TO TRAVEL ALLOWANCE: Candidates appearing for SSB interview
for the first time for a particular type of commission entitled for Tier III AC and forth
Railway fare or bus fare, including beds cum booking fees in the Indian limit.
Candidate who applies again to the same type of commission will not be entitled to travel
allowance any subsequent occasion.
By joining the army, some service personnel restrictions will be imposed in accordance
in Article 33 of the Constitution of India as promulgated in the rules of the Law of the Army and the Army
occasionally.
